The Cator Agency began protecting Oregonians in 2014 with the primary goals of treating every customer the way we want to be treated and making sure our customers are truly better off.
We are a family owned and operated local Clackamas insurance agency offering services in the Portland Metro area, throughout the state of Oregon, and the entire state of Washington.
We are not an 800-number. We are not insurance salespeople. We are an agency that cares about our customers and are very proud of our Oregon roots.

Heather Cator
Agency Owner
I moved from Yuma, AZ to Portland, OR in 2000 and never looked back! I love everything about the PNW and the natural beauty of Oregon. My son graduated from Milwaukie High School and now attends Oregon State University in Corvallis. My family and I enjoy taking in Portland Timbers soccer matches, hitting farmers markets and spending time along the Oregon coast going on day hikes with our two dogs Nelson and Robert.
I started The Cator Agency because I care about people. I want to help customers as they make decisions that protect what matters most: their family, home, car, snowmobile, motorcycle, and boat. My goal is to build a foundation of trust and respect and for The Cator Agency to be recognized as a top choice for insurance needs.
Colin Nutting
Sales Manager
Colin is the most senior member of The Cator Agency Team and brings over 15 years of sales and service experience to the team. He has 4 years of Property, Casualty, and Life insurance experience and has been our Sales Manager since 2019.
He was born and raised in Oregon and truly enjoys helping customers and members of his community. One of his favorite things to do is participating in outdoor actives with his wife and five year old daughter.
Matt Beeber
Asst Sales Manager
Matt joined the team in 2018 and became our Assistant Sales Manager in 2019. He is property, casualty, and life licensed and is committed to providing you with the professional advice and coverage that you and your family need.
Matt is a Native Oregonian who loves to spend time with his wife, dog Lola, 2 year old daughter Tamsin, and one year old daughter Charlee. He also seriously loves the New York Yankees.
Kevin Wright
Licensed Account Manager
Remote work possibilities have made living on the Oregon Coast a reality for Kevin. She recently moved to Cannon Beach Oregon and loves long walks on the beach and storm watching. Spending time with her 4 grandchildren, ages 3-21 is what she loves best.
Kevin has been with the Agency since it’s opening in 2014. She is a master at addressing customer needs and provides world class customer service. Kevin always goes above and beyond to help so customers are happy.
Autumn Trout
Agency Operations Manager
Native to Portland Oregon, Autumn enjoys hiking with her dogs, exploring local restaurants and shops. She loves to read and craft. She and her husband love to be outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest rain or shine.
Autumn is Property and Causality Licensed and has more than 10 years of customer service experience. As the Agency Operations Manager, Autumn is thoroughly committed to providing quality customer service and helping you address all of your insurance needs to protect your family and your prized possessions.
Marc Thompson
Licensed Agent
Marc grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Wilsonville and went to college in Bellingham Washington so his roots are here in the Northwest.
After traveling around the world and experiencing various parts of the country he decided that being back in the Northwest with friends and family is the right place for him.
Marc has a loving guard dog named Wyatt and loves spending his time hiking and reading. He spent time teaching English in Korea and is a veteran of the U.S, Army Reserves.
He's Property & Causality licensed in Oregon and Washington. He has 5 years of experience in the insurance industry and is happy to be helping fellow Oregonians find the best coverage for their needs.

Robert is a two year old grate dane. He weighs 150lbs but fully believes he's a lap dog.
